portfolio for art school

This is some selected art work that I have done.  I tried to choose work that shows where I started out when I first realized that I enjoyed being creative as well as work along the way.  Moreover I tried choosing work that shows my creative perspective and the different mediums and styles that I have done.  There is personal work, as well as work for others.  I also have choose to put my home-made screen press in.  I know it isn't a work of art, but it is an example of a functioning design and I am proud of it.  I am looking to have a hard working career with a vast creative outlet.  I would like to study graphic design as a major and printmaking, especially screen printing, as a minor.

After A While

Some lately kinda things i have been up to. There's a zombie print i did from Marigold photos, a poster for the Red Hot Art Festival, a few pictures of my press and one of my best friends in the whole world.

this is a series of paintings using objects that i used daily at work. 12"x12" canvas board painted then screen printed pattern created with indesign and finally painted (acrylic/ink) over with object. a few touch ups being done with paint.

screen printing weekend..

S.A.D. light box, with a storm window resting on some boxes and my bed above the light as we expose the screen.

The bottom picute is the second try at exposing the screen. this time we lifted the screen (as shown in the picture on top.) and exposed it for a shorter period of time.

Beginning of self port for painting

step one: stencil principles..

weekend one.

Great weekend. Especially since the wheel chair has been living here for the a week, we've all had a little time to learn how to shred around on it. Its functional for just about everything you could need to do and makes everyday tasks much more fun. you can even move a bunch of stuff room too room if you have a crate.

or sit and wish how lucky we'd be to get to go outside with it if only we were'nt limited by the stairs like Reggie below here.
